What areas do you pick up from?

We run out of Orlando and cover eight Central Florida counties: Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Polk, Volusia, Brevard and Sumter. That includes cities like Winter Park, Sanford, Lake Mary, Kissimmee, Clermont, Lakeland, Daytona Beach, Melbourne and The Villages. Just outside that ring? Reach out anyway — for larger drives we can often make the trip.

Do you pick up from homes, or only schools, churches and businesses?

Both. We pick up from homes, apartments, schools, churches, HOAs, businesses — pretty much anyone willing to donate. If you have bags at home, you can schedule a home pickup and we'll call you to confirm a day.

Is there a minimum amount of donations needed to schedule a pickup?

Accepted Answer

No minimum. Whether it's two bags from your closet or forty from a school drive, we'll come get it.

How do I schedule a pickup?

Fill out the Schedule a Pickup form with your name, phone number, address, what you have and the date you'd prefer. We'll call you back to confirm the day and time that works for our truck route. You can also call or text us at 281-932-9578.

Do you accept adult and children's clothing?

Yes — men's, women's and children's clothing are all welcome, in every size.

Can I donate socks, bras and underwear?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Socks, bras and underwear are welcome as long as they're in gently used, wearable condition. These are some of the hardest items for families overseas to find affordably.

Do you take baby clothes and baby gear?

Yes. Baby and toddler clothing, along with baby gear like carriers, blankets and toys, are always in demand.

Do you accept seasonal items?

Accepted Answer

Yes, seasonal items are welcome year-round — coats, sweaters, holiday clothing and decor. Our shipments go to different climates and markets, so there's no off-season for us.

How long does a clothing drive usually run?

Accepted Answer

Most drives run one to two days, which keeps the momentum high. That said, we build the schedule around your organization — if a week or a recurring monthly window works better for your school, church or workplace, we'll organize it that way.

Do you help with flyers or marketing materials?

Absolutely. We prepare flyers, posters and standing banners for your drive, plus copy-and-paste messaging for emails, newsletters and group chats. You can also download our printable flyer and host checklist right from the Host a Drive page.

Do you provide bins, bags or boxes for the drive?

Accepted Answer

Yes — tell us roughly how many households you expect and we'll drop off collection bins and bags before your drive starts, then take everything away at the end. Most donors also bring their own bags, which works perfectly.

Where do the donations go?

Accepted Answer

Everything we collect is sorted, baled and shipped overseas to markets in countries like Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Kenya, where local entrepreneurs buy inventory to resell in their own shops and market stalls. Nothing we collect is sold in the United States.

How does donating help entrepreneurs abroad?

In the markets we serve, the hardest part of running a small business isn't customers — it's affordable stock. A vendor can sell almost anything if she can afford to buy it first. We supply gently used goods at a fraction of retail, so the profit on every piece sold stays with the seller. One pallet of donated clothing can stock a stall for weeks and turn a side hustle into a steady income that feeds a household and pays school fees.

Why the emphasis on women in business overseas?

We're a female-owned business, and we've seen what happens when women have inventory to sell: earnings tend to flow straight back into food, school fees and healthcare for the whole family. So while we supply entrepreneurs generally, we put a heavy emphasis on women in business abroad — supporting them is the fastest way for a single bag of clothing to lift an entire household.

Does donating really reduce landfill waste?

Yes, meaningfully. The average American throws away about 81 pounds of clothing a year, and roughly 85% of discarded textiles in the U.S. end up in landfills or incinerators. Synthetic fabrics can take hundreds of years to break down while releasing methane, and producing a single cotton t-shirt takes around 700 gallons of water. Every item you keep in circulation avoids that footprint — reusing clothing cuts its carbon impact dramatically compared to making something new.

Do you sell items within the United States?

No. All of the second-hand items we collect are shipped overseas and supplied to local entrepreneurs in the countries we serve.

Do you take furniture?

Not at this time. Furniture is labor intensive to move, so we are focused on clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, linens, kitchenware, and working electronics and wearables.

Do you provide a tax receipt?

As a female social enterprise, we do not offer tax receipts at this time. Every item you donate still goes directly toward creating income for families overseas.

Everything must be in gently used condition. These items become inventory for someone's small business, so they need to be genuinely wearable and usable.
